Learn To Fly!
Traditionally, enthusiasts would fly in public parks, farm fields, or rural roads. Recent Transport Canada regulations have made this practice more difficult and flying with a MAAC affiliated club like ours is the best choice for learning to fly.
Our club has several volunteers who offer their time as instructors. Whether you are interested in airplanes, helicopters, or drones, our members can help you learn to fly and navigate the new Transport Canada laws and regulations.Β
We do recommend for newcomers to fly with an experienced RC pilot to ease into the hobby and mitigate the chances for crashes.Β It can make the difference between abandoning the hobby early or sticking with it.
